Maiden flight for three teenagers aboard meeco’s hot air balloon

Zug/Oerlinghausen. For the fourth time in a row, the Aeroclub NRW, based in Duisburg, North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) State, has organized a youth camp, this time in Oerlinghausen to give 140 teenagers the chance to discover and practice aerial sports. The event took place from September 21st to 22nd, and The meeco Group, which was represented by its Chief Technical Officer (CTO) and pilot, Thomas Beindorf, was among the event partners. Three youngsters had the opportunity to fly aboard the meeco hot air balloon under the command of meeco’s CTO.

From August 11th to 18th, the Asunción-based subsidiary of the Swiss meeco Group, meeco América Latina S.A. participated at the 39th edition of Expo Rodeo Trébol, the second largest stockbreeding fair in Paraguay. At the trade show, which took place in Loma Plata, Chaco region, exhibitors presented new technologies for the further development of food production in Paraguay, including this year’s meeco solar energy innovations for the agricultural sector.

ZUG/ASUNCIÓN.  The Swiss meeco Group, via its local subsidiary meeco América Latina S.A., has recently provided the design and hardware for a large sun2flow water pumping facility in the Northern Chaco in Pitiantuta, Department of Boquerón, Paraguay. This sun2flow project consists of 8 surface water pumping systems powered solely by solar photovoltaic modules. The project was executed in association with meeco’s long-term partner and agro equipment specialist, Taller Juancito. Each project has an installed solar power capacity of 1960 Wp to ensure a reliable, efficient and sustainable cattle water supply system.
