Further expansion of the Packages sun2roof PV installations

Back in February, oursun Solar Power Ltd, part of The meeco Group started a promising partnership with Packages Limited to bring solar renewable energy to Pakistan. oursun Solar Power Ltd. is glad to announce that a first initial but crucial part of the project has been completed. The Power Purchase Agreement contract ties the two sides initially for a total capacity of 3 MWp sun2roof installations. Last month, the first sun2roof photovoltaic installation of 65 kWp has been implemented and connected allowing Packages to get access to clean energy. From now, onwards until the 1st quarter of 2014, the roll out of the remaining sun2roof units is foreseen.

On April 15th, Mustaqim Dyeing & Printing Pvt Ltd. and The meeco Group completed successfully phase one of a photovoltaic rooftop installation, which provides initially up to 20 kWp of clean electrical energy. The sun2roof system is a grid-tied rooftop installation with 280 German thin-film modules and Power One inverters (ABB). The meeco Group, through its local joint venture oursun Solar Power Ltd., was in charge of design, layout, engineering, planning, procurement, shipment and installation of the system.
