meeco and its joint venture PV Energy Ltd. will commission several solar power systems on the Caribbean island of St. Kitts (St. Kitts). Both ground-mounted solar power and sun2roof solar installations with a total capacity of up to 1.5 MW are planned for various areas, which will also supply electricity to the Marriott St. Kitts Hotel, in cooperation with Royal Utilities, the local privatised electricity and water provider.

One of the first projects to be realised on the island is a sun2roof and sun2live photovoltaic installation that will produce renewable energy for the Marriott St. Kitts Hotel. The clean energy solutions help to reduce energy costs (shave-off), while ensuring a constant supply of water and electricity, essential for a beach resort and its guests. Investing in this renewable energy project means benefiting from the reliability and efficiency of the sun as a free and inexhaustible energy source.
