meeco América Latina installs solar water pumping system in Mistolar, Paraguay
Situated on the Pilcomayo River near the Argentinean border and 300 km away from the nearest paved road, the Indian community of Mistolar (Paraguay) is located in a very remote area with no access to the power grid.
The meeco group signs new EPC with four more ground-mounted projects in Oropos
meeco Services Hellas S.A., the Greece-based fully owned subsidiary of The meeco Group, has signed a new EPC contract which foresees the construction of four 100 kW ground mounted photovoltaic projects in the city of Oropos. For the realization of these projects, The meeco Group along with its subsidiary meeco Services Hellas S.A., decided to work with reliable and leading local partners such as the main subcontractor Hellenic Advanced Building (HAB). HAB will be responsible for the civil works while The meeco Group will be in charge of the project management.

Last Saturday 13th October meeco América Latina S.A., the Asunción-based subsidiary of The meeco Group, has hosted the second edition of its solar energy open-air event in the Chaco. Local farmers, clients, solar energy partners as well as water pumping experts were invited to this exclusive event which took place at a local cattle breading estancia Riacho-í, located near Rio Verde, in the Chaco region, (Presidente Hayes province) which already uses sun2flow and sun2live solutions from meeco.
