Photovoltaic rooftop implemented by meeco for Mustaqim Dyeing & Printing
Karachi, Pakistan. On April 15th, Mustaqim Dyeing & Printing Pvt Ltd. and The meeco Group completed successfully phase one of a photovoltaic rooftop installation, which provides initially up to 20 kWp of clean electrical energy. The sun2roof system is a grid-tied rooftop installation with 280 German thin-film modules and Power One inverters (ABB). The meeco Group, through its local joint venture oursun Solar Power Ltd., was in charge of design, layout, engineering, planning, procurement, shipment and installation of the system.

Cooperation between The meeco Group and Villa Group extended
Malé, Maldives. Expanding on the recent decision regarding the installation of a sun2live installation at Maamigili Airport in Maldives, Villa Group and The meeco Group agreed to increase the initial volume of 1,21 MW up to 4,76 MW in the first step. The contract negotiations took place at the main office of the Villa Group where the CEO, Mr. Qasim Ibrahim, himself signed the framework of the contract.

Through this cooperation, meeco introduces at the same time its new sun2safe solution: a solar energy management tool to be associated with electricity production systems. This tool, equipped with a storage solution, insures that the energy produced is either consumed by the powered equipment or used to charge the batteries.
