Air traveling and accordingly airports and planes are part of our current understanding of a connected and globalised world. Unfortunately, the amount of pollution caused by airplanes and the quantity of fossil fuels used for the airport facilities themselves does not really fit to the image of a green and clean tomorrow. In fact, airport terminals are undeniably energy-intensive consumers, as they need to keep their operations maintained on a 24-hour basis.

meeco extends its business presence in Pakistan with Seasons Foods and Supreme Farms

In 2013 The meeco Group through its subsidiary oursun Solar Power Ltd. has concluded several projects under rental Power Purchase Agreements (”PPA”) with renowned clients in Pakistan. oursun Solar Power will develop, design, erect, own and maintain solar sun2live production facilities for a period of 10 years on the premises of the customer – either on existing roofs as sun2roof or ground-mounted – and provide the produced energy at a fixed rental rate to its clients.
The meeco Group extends its presence in the world
Malé, Maldives. After a successful presentation and fruitful negotiations, The meeco Group concluded an agreement with one of the biggest business corporation on the Maldives islands, the Villa Group, which owns and operates the Maamigili airport. Villa Group, through its Chairman Mr. Qasim on his very birthday, and The meeco Group shook hands on the installation of the largest solar PV installation in the Maldives.
The meeco Group and Packages Limited bound by PPA contract
Zug/Lahore. On February 18th Packages Limited, a pioneer packaging solutions provider in Pakistan, and oursun Solar Power Ltd. a subsidiary of The meeco Group closed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) amounting to a total initial capacity of 3 MWp, with a possibility to extend the installation’s capacity up to 8 MWp in the near future. The solar installation will be built with tier one photovoltaic (PV) panels and tier one European inverters as per the standards established by The meeco Group for its global projects.
