We realise the installation of a 400 kWp off-grid sun2live solution for a remote community in Guyana
Together with our partners in the local joint venture company oursun Guyana, we are in the process of completing the 400 kWp solar power project in Mabaruma, Guyana.
sun2fix DECENTRALISED ENERGY SUPPLY FOR LONG-TERM SUCCESS OF INDIAN ENTERPRISES
The cost of power is one of the key concerns for industries and commercial enterprises across the globe as well as in India. Maharashtra in India is one of the most industrialised states in India, and the industries are exploring ways to utilise renewable energy to reduce and hedge their energy cost. The Open Access model provides a way by which renewable solar power can be wheeled across the state to accommodate situations where the energy intensive customers do not have sufficient space at their own premises.
We complete installation of sun2roof solar systems on 5 institute buildings
Guyana is striving towards a sustainable energy future. The government of the South American Republic, represented by the Guyana Energy Agency (GEA), has been constantly issuing clean energy tenders during the last year to reach the target of a 100% renewable energy supply in the country. As part of this program, we were awarded the tender to supply, design and install five sun2roof solar systems for the National Agricultural Research and Extension Institute (NAREI) together with our local joint venture oursun Guyana Inc.. The installation of the sun2roof clean energy solutions with a total solar capacity of 16 kWp, including respective sun2safe energy storage capacity has just been successfully completed.

meeco DEVELOPS INTELLIGENT SOLAR POWER SOLUTIONS FOR REMOTE TOURIST DESTINATIONS IN KENYA
The energy supply of remote African hotel and safari facilities has always been a challenge mostly met by the extensive and exclusive deployment of diesel generators. But more and more hotel operators are looking for greener and more profitable alternatives. The Swiss-headquartered clean energy provider The meeco Group, which is specialised in the African energy market for more than 10 years, has identified this branch-specific power demand at an early stage and developed smartly connected hybrid and trybrid solar energy generation and storage solutions for remote hotels and safari lodges according to their locally varying requirements.
The award “best utility scale solar” was presented yesterday at the Caribbean renewable energy forum 2017
With our 10 MWp clean energy project cluster, planned, designed and realised for the Caribbean twin-island state Antigua and Barbuda, together with PV Energy we have been selected by the CREF Project Award Advisory Committee to win the award “Best Utility Scale Solar”. The award was presented yesterday at the ninth edition of the Caribbean Renewable Energy Forum (CREF) taking place in Miami, Florida, USA. 150 kWp phase one sun2live ground-mounted solar power solution to save 160,860 kilograms of CO2 emissions annually
The government of Antigua and Barbuda (GOAB) further strives toward the realisation of generating 20 per cent of its electricity from renewable energy resources by the year 2020. The installation of a 150 kWp clean power project on the Caribbean twin islands state to be implemented shortly by the clean energy provider PV Energy Limited marks the first step in Barbuda towards the final goal of 1 MWp.
Zimbabwean company benefits from our 216 kWp sun2live energy generating system as an off-grid solution
Many companies in Africa are struggling with electricity scarcity, power cuts and the reliance on diesel generators. The current installation of the so far largest solar energy plant in Zimbabwe with a total capacity of 216 kWp marks a major turning point in the history of energy supply in Zimbabwe and its companies, which are still strongly dependent on fossil fuels. Recently, we equipped the facility of a Zimbabwean company with its eco-friendly solar power solution sun2live.
A beautiful view over the snow-covered mountains of the Alps represented the reward for our meeco balloon team, which has been exposed to temperatures of 20 degrees below zero. From January 14th until 21st the team participated in the “Ballonfestival Tannheimer Tal” in Austria near the country boarder to Switzerland. Braving the cold temperatures the team flew with its SunCarrier-branded hot-air balloon at an altitude of 3,200 metres above sea level.
