Since 2014 a sun2roof solar rooftop system designed and installed by meeco enhances the efficiency of the renowned Pakistani food company Seasons Food. A Power Purchase Agreement between the meat processing company and the local member of the meeco Group, oursun Solar Power Limited, stipulated the development, erection, operation and maintenance of the 500 kWp sun2live solution by meeco. Seasons Food buys the generated clean electricity at a fixed rate and thereby secures a sustainable, reliable and interruption-free energy supply, which is absolutely mandatory for smooth food processing. Furthermore, Seasons Food benefits from stable, predictable and lower than grid price electricity costs. meeco has installed top-tier European photovoltaic modules and inverters as well as mounting substructure system. These were especially tailor-made as per the local requirements in Pakistan and of the customers’ premises.
