In recent years, the solar industry has seen significant growth, with many people investing in solar panels. Now, home batteries are gaining traction as well. It’s a logical next step towards sustainability and energy independence.
Following its commitment to raise awareness of the use of renewables for energy production in the residential field as well, meeco recently built and commissioned in Germany a small rooftop plant with an associated storage system.

sun2roof® system on residential buildings

Specifically, this project is a private sun2roof® PV system on a residential building in Weilheim/Teck (Germany) of 10.88kWp consisting of 34 oursun® modules. Configured and commissioned in June 2024, it will annually produce about 12MW of green energy, also ensuring significant savings in energy costs on the utility bill.

sun2safe® Smart Energy Solution Management

A 10 kWp sun2safe® storage solution has also been integrated into the system. To optimize sustainable development, it is necessary to utilize clean energy sources as well as to manage the produced energy intelligently. The meeco sun2safe® smart energy solution guarantees regular and close insight into power production, as well as providing optimal supervision of power consumption through its special and optional remote monitoring tool sun2see®. Equipped with high-performance batteries, this efficient concept ensures a steady and reliable energy supply without interruptions.
