Four years after its debut in the Spanish solar photovoltaic market, SunCarrier Services SL, the fully owned subsidiary of the Swiss-based meeco Group, relocates to a new office location in the Alicante area.
Situated in Playa de San Juan (Alicante district), the new office is just 20 minutes away from the Alicante International Airport by car and is well connected to the city center of Alicante via the local public transportation network.
The new facilities are part of a traditional Spanish ‘Finca’, which not only includes bright office spaces, gardens and exterior barbecue lounge area but also serves as the headquarters to the official meeco Equestrian Team stables. Another great feature is the 5 minute drive to the fine sand “Playa de San Juan” beach, the largest in the area with over 6 km length.
‘Finca meeco is the perfect definition of what a modern office space should be. At any moment, our employees can take some fresh air in the gardens, enjoy the sun on the rooftop’s deck chairs or even ride one of the five horses we have here” explains Eric Borremans, Managing Director of SunCarrier Services SL. “Moving from the city center to this new location ended up being very positive for all of us. We are convinced that such a working environment can play a role in favoring employee productivity and improving the daily office atmosphere” adds Borremans.
