Meeco AG signs exclusive agreement for SunCarrier on the Italian market at INTERSOLAR.

The hosts of the worlds largest trade fair on photovoltaics, solar thermal applications and so-lar constructions, which will take place between 12th and 14th of June at Munich fair-ground, expect about 40.000 visitors. Among the approximately 1000 exhibitors, who will promote various products concerning the use of renewable energy, is a+f GmbH situated in Würzburg, a subsidiary of the Gildemeister concern. With a+fs completely new developed SunCarrier 6.1, which will be assembled in full-scale at the stand (Hall B5, Stand 190) and has a thermovoltaic collector size of about 290 sqm, the company from Franconia definitely presents the eye-catcher of the exposi-tion. Also present at the stand is the Swiss company Meeco AG, which took over the distribution of SunCarrier in Spain when it was fully developed only 2 years ago and already made it a success story.

Provided with a distribution license for the Spanish market, within the last 12 month 1300 SunCarrier were sold, assembled and attached to the electricity network there in close collaboration between the manufacturer and employed specialists. Currently 45 Megawatt of energy are produced by these solar power plants, which is an important share on resource conserving energy production facing the extremely increasing prizes of fossil fuels.

Dieter Trutschler, lead distribution manager at Meeco, states that: This rhythm is going to be maintained, and the results within the last month encourage us in our assumption. After agreeing on and establishing a complete service facility in Athens only a few weeks ago, however, the real blowoff is going to take place at INTERSOLAR: Meeco will receive the exclusive distribution rights for the Italian market at the trade fair.

We see this as a great mark of confidence and as a appreciation of our work within the past 2 years says a proud Dieter Trutschler. After all Italy is the worlds 4th largest market for photovoltaic devices, following California, Spain and Germany.

Before INTERSOLAR opens Meeco already established a bureau in Florence with a team of  experienced employees to avoid letting time pass away unused, to demonstrate pres-ence there and to create a home for the newly to-be-employed specialists. Long-time experience with the distribution and instalment of world-wide operating venture teams on variable industrial fields ensure that, similar to about 20 present SunCarrier projects in Spain, the usual precision of Meecos teams can warrant a high level of costumer satisfaction in Italy as well.

With the brilliant and field-tested technology of Gildemeister and a+f, we are 30 percent more efficient than conventional immobile systems and we, either directly or with the help of our partners, have a presence at a large number of places nearly all around the globe. Against this background, we now focus the expanding markets in South America, in the Middle East and in southern Africa, where we already have open distribution licenses. concludes Trutschler.
