SOLAR ENERGY IN FRANCE

The company Solar Solutions SARL offers to the French customers solar project implementations together with technical and advisory services.

The region of Prunu, Corsica (France) houses the first large-scale photovoltaic power plant, developed and designed by The meeco Group, who also managed and financed the implementation and construction process of this huge project. In close cooperation with local and international partners, this solar facility has been installed with a total nominal power capacity of close to 4,500 kWp of fixed installations distributed across 17 ha. The top-tier technologies and advanced materials, carefully chosen by The meeco Group, ensure low maintenance efforts and high energy yields. The facility generates well over 6,000 MWh per year saving up to 4,000 tons of CO₂ emissions in the same period of time.

The successful implementation of the solar energy project in Prunu stands for the daily mission of The meeco Group: Designing best-suitable renewable energy solutions, which are perfectly adapted even to challenging local conditions and terrains.
