European Core Team and Executive Board of The meeco Group discusses future business and evaluates project managing processes
The Executive Board of The meeco Group a well as its Core Technical and Project Team convened this week in the group’s Italian office in Milan to review and discuss current and future projects. The agenda of the meeting also included topics such as business strategies, project and country management.
Due to motivation, professional diligence and experiences of the meeco Group´s team members, solar business in the Asian market, particularly in Pakistan and on the Maldives as well as in Africa and Latin America has massively expanded in the course of the last two years.
Under the guidance of Ms. Corinna Fischer, Business Development Director of The meeco Group, ten team members, including the Sales Director and member of the Board of Directors, Dieter Trutschler, the Chief Technical Officer, Thomas Beindorf and the Chief Financial Officer, Konstantin Wolf, discussed and reviewed strategies for new products, project handling, marketing, processes as well as responsibilities.
Special attention has been paid to solar energy projects of The meeco Group in Pakistan and the Indian Ocean. A region where in many cases a reliable electricity grid is not available and the economy suffers from increasing power tariffs due to high diesel prices.
Just recently oursun Solar Power Limited, a joint venture company of The meeco Group and two renowned business professionals in Pakistan has concluded an agreement with the multinational and Pakistan-based Nishat Group for the supply of up to 2,0 MWp of sun2roof solar energy installations for emporium mall in the framework of a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). On Maldives The meeco Group managed to conclude an agreement with the Villa Group on a project cluster comprising of five solar installations on different islands of the Maldives. The first one will be at Maamigili airport. Thanks to this project cluster, The meeco Group will very soon become the biggest solar project developer in Maldives.
