A climate change movement has risen
A young Swedish girl, born in 2003, attracted worldwide attention, when she protested with the message “School strike for climate” in front of the Swedish parliament. Since then, her name – Greta Thunberg – runs in the media coverage up and down. Thanks to her activity, a movement has risen and many students, adults and like-minded people spread all over the world are following her protests for a clean sustainable future. She stopped visiting her local school on Fridays and protested instead in front of the parliament. Greta criticizes, that politicians for not taking global warming seriously and demands, that CO2 emissions be reduced instantly and aggressively.

Inspired by Greta Thunberg, pupils and students began to protesting on Fridays. After the first solidary strikes in Australia, the Climate Change Conference in Poland, COP24 and a speech by Greta Thunberg intensified the school strikes for climate. The protests rapidly expanded to countries like Germany, Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States and many others. All over the world the movement is gaining in popularity and many thousands of students are participating in the strikes in various cities and countries.
In accordance with our claim “Sustainability is our commitment”, we are providing clean energy across five continents, especially in remote areas of the world like Guyana, Fiji and Mauritius and in countries with high solar radiation such as Zimbabwe, India or Pakistan. #FridaysForFuture shakes up the society
The #FridaysForFuture movement inspired people all over the world. The 15th of March marked a very special day: about 1.4 million people participated in the FridaysForFuture strikes at more than 2,000 places in the world, a milestone for Greta Thunberg and her followers. At the beginning of April 2019, the juvenile climate strikers announced to continue their activities until politicians and economical leaders react seriously to their protests and develop precise plans to stop climate change.
