One cannot question the beauty of Palma de Mallorca. Tourists love it for the sea and the beaches, artists choose it for its vivid colors and inspiring nature. Just like the famous German painter Christian Awe, who has opened one of his new ateliers right on the island.

Green consciousness on the isle

Green consciousness and respect for the environment also led Mr. Awe to make a sustainable choice in favor of renewable energy. meeco was by his side to find with him the best photovoltaic sun2roof® solution that reflected his needs in terms of green choice, energy need and cost savings.

sun2roof® installation: the perfect solution

Finalized and commissioned in June 2024, the sun2roof® installation has since been successfully producing clean electricity for Mr. Awe’s atelier.

Allocated on the roof of the building, this tailor-made PV solution of 10, 38kWp, consists of 25 highly efficient and environmentally friendly top tier solar modules.

Grid connected, duly legalized and certified, this sun2roof® installation will generate about 13 MWh per year and save 3,928 tons of polluting CO2 emissions.

“The sun is life energy as colors are” states Mr. Awe. “It was spontaneous and natural for me to want to use renewable resources to meet my energy consumption needs. In meeco I have found the ideal partner who could fully realize this wish of mine, satisfying all my needs and requirements. It’s a little something, but thinking and living green makes the planet better.”
